So I've learned that Colby works on his own time-frame. Just because WE "turned in his papers" doesn't mean he visited his bishop or stake president. He has NOW, finally done just that, and the papers are officially "turned in." Because of General Conference last weekend, we don't know if we will receive the big white envelope this week or next week, but it's sure to come much sooner than I would like. =)
My friend Mitzi's son just returned from the London England Mission. Now there's a great mission! One that will "allow" me to pick Colby up when his two years are complete. I've never been to London before... or anywhere east of Nauvoo, Illinois (or Minneapolis, Minnesota, whichever is further east.) So that would be exciting!
Colby has just two weeks left of school to finish out his second semester at Snow College. He's done well, and we are very proud of him. His last final is on the 26th, and we will bring him home shortly after that. I hope all that stuff he has accumulated in his dorm room fits in the back of our car...
I can't wait to find out where he is going!
